Description
Compressor discharge temperature is dangerously high.
Activation Conditions
Discharge temperature >285°F for 30 seconds, or >295°F instantly.
Unit Behavior
Shutdown.
Reset Conditions
Auto reset after 15 minutes when temperature drops below 266°F.
Corrective Actions
1. Check airflow through the condenser coils. 2. Check the LIV, CSMV, EVXV, and ECXV valves. 3. Check refrigerant charge level (should be 18.2 lbs R-452A). 4. Check system pressures.
