Check Engine Oil Pressure

Description

Engine oil pressure is dangerously low.

Activation Conditions

Oil pressure <12 psig for 5+ seconds while engine is running.

Unit Behavior

Alarm only.

Reset Conditions

Auto reset when oil pressure returns to normal.

Corrective Actions

1. Check engine oil level using the dipstick. 2. Add oil if low (CJ-4/CK-4, 10W30 or 5W40). 3. Check the oil pressure switch. 4. Check electrical connections to the oil pressure switch.
